Our 1 lb. Spool of 4043 Aluminum Welding Wire in the .045" diameter is used with 100% argon gas. This is a 4" diameter spool with a center mounting hole that is standard 5/8" diameter. This wire is also great in a spool gun. Note that this is precision wound wire, verses random wound. Precision layer wound is like a spool of thread, each revolution is next to the other, which feeds better and provides a more consistent wire feed rate.
