The HTP MIG 2400 was developed for the fabricators out there who want a powerful, dependable welder that won't let them down. We also designed it for the farmers who need a rugged unit for heavy fabrication, implement modification and serious repair work. We made sure to include the exact features everyone needs – at a price anyone can afford!
Features like a four roller geared wire feed system that delivers a smooth, consistent wire feed. The ability to digitally display either the welding amperage or the welding voltage lets you precisely adjust your welder for any welding job. There's also a wire feed accelerator for smooth arc starting and a burnback timer to set wire stickout.
HTP didn't stop there. The MIG 2400 also features heavy-duty rotary contact switches that let you adjust the copper wound transformer to any of its 24 different heat settings. A spot weld timer ensures consistent tack welds. A powder coated, 16 gauge steel cabinet is solidly welded together and comes standard with wheels and an undercarriage, allowing you to easily roll the machine anywhere in your shop. A 10' 24 Series welding gun is standard and can be upgraded to a 12' or 15'. We can also install the welding gun of your choice as well. To save time, you can reverse the polarity without any tools for quick changeover to flux-cored wires.
Your MIG 2400 also includes: 10' ground clamp, flowmeter and gas hose, undercarriage (so you can put a tank on the back of the welder and move it around your shop) and our Welcome to the World of MIG WeldingDVD. Some other items you will need are a roll of Welding Wireand a Gas Bottle. We do recommend that you check with your local gas supplier to make sure they will fill your own gas bottle.
