The Quick Notch features a rugged, 3/8" thick, CNC machined aluminum backing plate for long life and, base plate for drill press mounting. The 3 piece V-Block Vise centers tubing from 5/8" to 2" diameter with virtually any size cutter (standard hole saws work fine) and locks it into place. Sine the cutter and the work are locked into place with each other, there is no chance of the cutter grabbing, the tubing getting thrown, or bending thin wall tubing.
Etched into the anodized backing plate of the Quick Notch is a scale which runs from 0 to 60 degrees. This allows you to quickly and accurately set the cutting angle, giving you a perfect fit every time.
