The Stealth WG features infinite shade adjustment from 9 to 13, infinite sensitivity, and infinite opening delay adjustment—no fixed digital
adjustments here. Plus the weld&grind feature, and lock the helmet into the
light state for plasma cutting, oxy acetylene cutting, or grinding. This helmet provides everything the demanding
professional welder needs—and we will put them up against any of the “better
known” brands.
Our Stealth helmets start with an ultra lightweight
shell—weighs only 9 ¼ oz— made from 100% virgin DuPont Nylon. Next, we married
the shell to a fully adjustable, ratcheting headgear. The headgear can be adjusted in and out to
determine how close to your face the lens sits, the headgear has a custom, easy
turn ratchet that won’t slip and is easy to grip with a gloved hand, and the
headgear can be adjusted so it sits on your head without falling off and without being too tight.
Further, the
headband features a soft padded replaceable sweatband on both the front and
rear of the headgear, giving you an extremely comfortable fit –you’ll forget
you have it on! With one positive detent
up position, so your helmet stays up, and three down detent positions that you can
quickly lock into, you can easily look either up, straight ahead, and down with
the Striker Stealth helmet. Absolutely great for welding in any position!
We worked closely with an engineering and manufacturing
team, who used to work for a large American helmet manufacturer, to help
develop our Stealth helmets. The Striker Stealth
WG features ultra advanced electronics, such as switching from light to dark in
under 1/25,000 of a second. Plus, the
special photo diodes (electric eyes) detect a DC TIG arc when you are welding
below 5 amps—and a DC TIG Arc is the hardest
arc to sense! Striker Stealth helmets
are powered by CR2032 button cells for light weight and long life and feature a
solar battery life extender—the batteries last up to 900 hours.
