Pull dents with professional results...and a whole lot more! This completely portable unit lets you work anywhere. Tests in bodyshops show that the Stud Setter can reduce labor costs by 40% to 80%.
Attach the tip for stud welding, insert studs, pull the trigger and electrically weld the stud to the dented panel. Attach the Slide Hammer to the stud and pull the dent, or attach a row of studs and us a clamp and "Come Along" for big dents. Each stud provides approximately 500 pounds of pull strength, but can be easily ground off without heat distortion. The Stud Setter makes quick work of hail dents and door dings.
Weld studs to cold-rolled, high strength, galvanized and stainless steels - all without making holes or removing panels.
Another use for your Stud Setter is the installation of trim rivets. Many late model cars require these fasteners. Simply attach the trim rivet tip, place a trim rivet in the magnetic tip, hold the gun tip to your scribed line, pull the trigger, and "ZAP", you're done.
On the vehicle, you can shrink stretched metal with clean instant electric heat exactly where you want it, then hammer and cool with a wet rag - continue until done. Get rid of "oil can" areas and reduce high spots. It's great for hard-to-reach places, overhead or at any angle, on 26 gauge through 16 gauge.
A great buy even if it did one job well...an incredible value to you because it does three jobs extremely well. Complete step by step instructions enclosed.
