TIG Welding School

HTP America invites you to attend our premier TIG Welding School. This 4½ hour, hands-on class will cover the basics of TIG welding while developing existing TIG skills. The class will cover steel and aluminum welding, TIG torch basics, filler material, and many little known tricks of the trade. If you are just beginning to TIG weld or want to improve your skills, this class is a must attend!!


The class is jointly taught by Jeff Noland, President of HTP America, and Jerry Westhouse, fabricator for Indy Car team Newman Haas Racing. Newman Haas has won 8 open wheel championships, including 1984 with Mario Andretti, 1991 with driver Michael Andretti, 2004-2007 with Sebastian Bourdias in the McDonald's car, and in 2011 Oriol Servia clinched fourth place in the series with the Telemundo car.

Two classes will be held on Saturday, February 18. Choose either the morning class which runs from 7:30am until 12:00pm or the afternoon class which runs from 1:00pm to 5:30pm. Each class covers the same material and has four welding stations available, utilizing the new Invertig 221, with three participants per station. Class size is limited to 12 participants and the cost is $135. Reservations will be taken on a first come basis only.
