Amazing welds!! As close to a factory spot weld as possible in such a small unit. A must have for any auto restoration project.

I purchased this to restore my muscle car project and couldn't be happier. It performs fantastic! The product is built strong, the arms are beefy thick copper and produce very nice spot welds. The logic chip takes all the guess work out of it and makes it possible for anyone to make nice consistent welds. Only neg. thing I could say is that it gets hot after several welds and has to cool down, but you know that going in so no big deal. Highly recommend this product.

I own a collision shop where we use Pro Spot commercial welders. They are all 3 phase so when I needed something to use at home on my restorations they where not an option. I tried one of the Miller 220v units with horrible results. I purchased one of these Quick Spots and I was in love@! lol This welder uses inverter technology and that makes all the differance. The welds it produces are very factory looking. For the price it is a very well built piece!!! Buy it and you will be glad you did. Dont waste your money on the Harbor Freights or the Miller. Again its the Invertor technology just like our Pro Spot's that cant be beat! Thank you HTP for making this unit available!!!!

After using and burning up several low quality Harbor Freight brand spot welders (both 110 and 220 volt) I decided I needed to buy a quality welder. I did a LOT of research and was preparing myself to have to spend several thousand to get the performance on .040 and .063 sheet metal I need. I read and re read the description on this spot welder several times and finally decided to go ahead and take a chance. I have been using this welder for months and I am completely satisfied with its performance. While it is not capable of making a lot of welds in a short period of time (about one every 25-30 seconds in my application), the quality of weld is outstanding. You can actually feel the electricity hit the steel when the unit activates. If I needed another welder I would have no hesitation in buying a second unit.

Quickspot II

This spot welder does an amazing job. I've used it for five years, it's a sturdy, and versatile tool. Using the longest arms, I can still count on it to provide me a clean durable weld. In its category, I think the Quickspot II is the best choice!
