Unbelievable tool July 2, 2017

Amazing welds!! As close to a factory spot weld as possible in such a small unit. A must have for any auto restoration project.

Awesome Performer July 29, 2014
Reviewer: Bryan from Mooresville, Indiana
I purchased this to restore my muscle car project and couldn't be happier.  It performs fantastic!  The product is built strong, the arms are beefy thick copper and produce very nice spot welds.  The logic chip takes all the guess work out of it and makes it possible for anyone to make nice consistent welds.  Only neg. thing I could say is that it gets hot after several welds and has to cool down, but you know that going in so no big deal.  Highly recommend this product.

Well kept secret! November 19, 2012
Reviewer: Anonymous Person
I own a collision shop where we use Pro Spot commercial welders. They are all 3 phase so when I needed something to use at home on my restorations they where not an option. I tried one of the Miller 220v units with horrible results. I purchased one of these Quick Spots and I was in love@! lol  This welder uses inverter technology and that makes all the differance. The welds it produces are very factory looking. For the price it is a very well built piece!!! Buy it and you will be glad you did. Dont waste your money on the Harbor Freights or the Miller. Again its the Invertor technology just like our Pro Spot's that cant be beat! Thank you HTP for making this unit available!!!!

This welder is fantastic October 25, 2012
Reviewer: Specialty Machinist from Las Vegas NV
After using and burning up several low quality Harbor Freight brand spot welders (both 110 and 220 volt) I decided I needed to buy a quality welder. I did a LOT of research and was preparing myself to have to spend several thousand to get the performance on .040 and .063 sheet metal I need. I read and re read the description on this spot welder several times and finally decided to go ahead and take a chance. I have been using this welder for months and I am completely satisfied with its performance. While it is not capable of making a lot of welds in a short period of time (about one every 25-30 seconds in my application), the quality of weld is outstanding. You can actually feel the electricity hit the steel when the unit activates. If I needed another welder I would have no hesitation in buying a second unit.

Quickspot II March 1, 2012
Reviewer: R J Mc from Sonoma County California
This spot welder does an amazing job.  I've used it for five years, it's a sturdy, and versatile tool.  Using the longest arms, I can still count on it to provide me a clean durable weld.
In its category, I think the Quickspot II is the best choice!

Well worth the price June 14, 2010
Reviewer: David Chapman from Houston, TX United States
I recently purchased a QuickSpot II to do some major restorations on a 1958 Chevy Truck. With minimal setup and testing we were able to weld bond a new roof skin in less than half the time of Mig spotting the skin. No grinding afterwards was the best part.  No fooling with a switch when you clamp it on in hopes of getting the corrct time for the spot, Its all automaticaly timed and adjustable.
I highly recomend this welder.

Great tool for auto restoration! January 17, 2010
Reviewer: Kevin Oeste from Midwest USA
We've been using the HTP Quick Spot II for several years on our muscle car restoration projects, and we really like the results.   The Quick Spot II allows you to quickly and easily replicate factory style spot welds, and they don't require the grinding and clean up of MIG plug welds to look great.    The machine is strong and reliable, and welds body panels with ease.    This machine has saved our shop countless hours in welding and clean up time, and after using it, we wouldn't do another project car without one.
