.030" Silicon Bronze Wire, 2 Lb. Spool

Free Shipping!
Our 2 Lb. Spool of .030" Silicon Bronze Wire is softer then steel and easier to grind. Melts at 1866 degrees Fahrenheit. This is a 8" diameter spool with a standard center mounting hole measuring 2" in diameter. Note that this is precision wound wire, versus random wound. Precision layer wound is like a spool of thread where each revolution is next to the other, which feeds better and provides a more consistent wire feed rate.

Free Shipping!
Our 10 Lb. Spool of .035" Flux-Cored Hard-Facing Wire is a multi-purpose, hard-surfacing wire that can be used in a wide range of applications to prevent wear or to repair worn parts, such as plow shears or harrow teeth. This is a high carbon, chromium alloy with molybdenum which produces a Rockwell "C" hardness of 50. The wire provides unbelievable resistance to severe abrasion, at the same time offering great impact resistance. Although this is a flux-cored wire, it still requires the use of 100% CO2 shielding gas.
