Helmet Sale: Use Coupon Code HELMET20 to save $20 on our HTP Striker Supreme Helmet in Black or Carbon Fiber.

The HTP Striker Supreme offers excellent protection and unbeatable clarity at an unbelievable price. The Striker Supreme earned an optical clarity rating of 1/1/1/1, the best possible optical clarity rating for auto-darkening welding lenses. Graded on a scale of 1 to 3, with 1 being the highest grade and 3 being the lowest, the Striker Supreme achieved excellence in all four classes of optical clarity—optical (or accuracy of vision), diffusion of light, variation of luminous transmittance, and angle dependence on luminous transmittance.

The Striker Supreme welding helmet features a 3.94” x 2.56” (over 10 square inch) viewing area , which enables you to easily see your work piece. Two welding modes allow you to set the variable shade level from shade level 4 to shade level 8 on the first setting and shade level 9 to shade level 13 on the second setting. Infinitely adjustable sensitivity, four infrared sensors, and a light-state to dark-state reaction time of 1/30,000 of a second, protect your eyes the second you strike an arc. You can also adjust the delay time, or the amount of time the lens takes to switch from the dark-state back to the light-state, from 0.3 seconds when set at Short to 0.9 seconds when set at Long. A grinding mode allows you to lock the lens into the light-state (a shade level 3) for plasma cutting, oxy-acetylene cutting, or grinding.

The Striker Supreme welding helmet features a fully adjustable headgear with cushioned headband, weighs in at only 17.6 ounces, and features both solar cells and a replaceable Lithium CR2450 battery, ensuring endless hours of welding, cutting, and grinding in comfort and clarity. Available in Matte Black or Carbon Fiber.

4 of 5 adjustments October 31, 2018
Reviewer: steve hicks from WINSTON SALEM, NC United States
When I got my helmet, I also had issues with adjustment that wasn't in manual. For those that have mentioned bottom of edge of helmet hitting their neck as helmet falls in place,  there's an adjustment for that on each side, using slotted tabs. Also two adjustments for movement of helmet, left knob adjustment for when helmet in upright position which will feel a notching movement as it move down in front of your face. Adjust as needed for proper tension. Then when you feel a free fall of helmet on the way down and there you start to adjust the right knob for the rest of the helmet moving down in front of your face. I've also noticed that if I use my hand  under the chin to lift helmet out of the way, I can do it better by placing my hand above window and having my hand to move helmet to back of my head for movement and placement of helmet to back of head. I would have given 5 stars if helmet had exterior window adjustment. great helmet.

1 of 5 Junk! September 27, 2018
Reviewer: Robert Lynk from Cabazon, CA United States
Had issues with it staying dark in dark areas and going out of dark mode while tig welding. They kindly replaced the filter for me. It's been a about 6 months or so and having the same issues. I loved the clarity, weight and fit but if I'm going to keep getting flashed its junk to me. Ended up throwing it against the wall yesterday so I think the warranty is void.

3 of 5 Great helmet, bad headgear September 28, 2017
Reviewer: alexander from Maryland
im a welder and fabricator and i use this all day long. if you keep the helmet clean and have decent lighting, the helmet is great. however i noticed from the second i put it on and started testing it that i wouldnt be able to flip the helmet down by nodding like you can with other helmets. you either tighten it so that it will stay up and out of the way but need to use your hand to drop it down, or loosen it so that you can sort of flip it down with a nod or 2 but then the helmet will also slowly drift down infront of your face when you need it to stay up. ive gotten so frustrated with having to keep pushing the helmet up out of my face ive almost thrown it a few times but stopped myself lol. maybe i got a dud, idk but for such a nice helmet, it came with a pretty lousey headgear. it recommend it if someone didnt mind buying a different headgear that fits to go along with it

Love the optics on this helmet. The headgear is terrible, almost a deal breaker if you use it often.
